Being a big influence in my formative years, Aunt Alma taught me many skills. Of all the things this gentle woman had shared, I grew to love sewing the most. And she always wore her apron. When I came to visit her at her country home, she greeted me with one of her trusted aprons on, ready to tackle any project we had.

At Alma’s Aprons, I’m always sewing up aprons in loving memory of my aunt. Aunt Alma was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and was unable to care for herself when she passed away. She was once a vibrant woman, always generously serving others, and it was hard to watch her become just a shell of herself. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America to help fund research and gain new ways of treating or curing this dreaded disease.
